Earlier this week, Headline Planet noted that Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” would reach the Top 5 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Making good on that projection, “Girls Like You” rises three places to #3 on this week’s listing.

The smash hit received 15,520 spins during the July 15-21 tracking period. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by a monstrous 3,417 spins*.

“Girls Like You” concurrently enters the Top 5 at hot adult contemporary radio, where it rises three places to #4. It also holds at its #21 peak at adult contemporary, while joining the Top 30 at rhythmic.
