Chance The Rapper’s “I Might Need Security” Rises To #7 On US Spotify; Other New Songs Also Charting

The new Chance music makes an early splash on Spotify.

Chance The Rapper released four new songs on Thursday, and each unsurprisingly commanded opening day attention on US Spotify.

That attention increased Friday, with one of the songs earning a Top 10 position on the daily chart.

“I Might Need Security,” that song, amassed 1,212,956 million Friday streams on US Spotify. It takes #7 on the daily chart.

“65th & Ingleside” follows at #20 with 760,133 Friday streams, while a second-day streaming count of 590,047 slots “Work Out” at #35.

“Wala Cam,” the fourth new track, grabs #61 with 449,295 streams.

— Chance’s music is not charting quite as well globally, although three of the tracks do appear within Friday’s Top 200. “I Might Need Security” is #36, “65th & Ingleside” is #85 and “Work Out” is #120 on the global chart.
