“Mission: Impossible – Fallout” opens nationwide on Friday, July 27.
Three days earlier, cast member Henry Cavill will make a daytime talk show appearance.
The actor will be the interview guest on the July 24 “Live With Kelly & Ryan.” As of press time, he is the only celebrity listed for the broadcast.
It will be interesting to see if Cavill discusses fallout from his recent GQ interview. The actor drew ire for his comments regarding how the #MeToo movement has impacted the courtship process.
“I think a woman should be wooed and chased, but maybe I’m old-fashioned for thinking that,” said Cavill. “It’s very difficult to do that if there are certain rules in place. Because then it’s like: ‘Well, I don’t want to go up and talk to her, because I’m going to be called a rapist or something’.”
He subsequently issued an apology statement, telling The Hollywood Reporter that “insensitivity was absolutely not my intention.”
“In light of this, I would just like to clarify and confirm to all that I have always and will continue to hold women in the highest regard, no matter the type of relationship, whether it be friendship, professional or a significant other” added the actor.
