Emmys: “Game Of Thrones,” “Westworld,” “This Is Us,” “Americans,” More Nominated For Outstanding Drama

Seven dramas will compete in this year’s Emmy race.

Following Thursday morning’s announcement, we know the seven series that will contend for Outstanding Drama Series at the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Those series are HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” and “Westworld,” Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and “The Crown,” NBC’s “This Is Us,” FX’s “The Americans,” and Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

“The Handmaid’s Tale” is the category’s reigning champion. “Westworld,” “Stranger Things,” “The Crown,” and “This Is Us” were all nominated last year. “The Americans” was overlooked for nomination, while “Game Of Thrones” did not air in the eligibility window.

NBC’s broadcast of the Emmys will air on Monday, September 17.
