Drake’s “Scorpion” Pacing For 25-28K US Sales, 310-325K US Units In Second Week

Drake’s “Scorpion” will spend a second week atop the Billboard 200.

Second-week sales and consumption projections have emerged for Drake’s “Scorpion.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is on track to sell 25-28,000 pure US copies during the July 6-12 tracking period. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1250 for paid services, track streams/3750 for free services), included, the album should generate 310-325,000 in total second-week US consumption units.

As it currently stands, the pure sales total should earn “Scorpion” a second week atop the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart. No other album is projected to sell over 20,000 copies this week.

The consumption tally will keep “Scorpion” atop the Billboard 200. Post Malone’s “Beerbongs & Bentleys,” which is expected to be the closest competitor, will generate about 70,000 in consumption this week.
