Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s “I Like It” Likely Headed For #1 At Rhythmic Radio

“I Like It” has a good chance of reaching #1 on this week’s rhythmic radio chart.

Last week, Cardi B’s “Be Careful” reached #1 on the Mediabase rhythmic radio chart.

This week, a different Cardi B song may seize the throne. Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin’s “I Like It” is currently leading the race for #1 at rhythmic radio.

The high-profile collaboration received 5,009 spins during the first six days of the July 1-7 tracking period. Up 18.0% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “I Like It” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

It only maintains a slight lead over Drake’s building #2 “Nice For What” (4,965 spins, -4.7%), but it has the clear momentum advantage. Barring a huge change in their trajectories, “I Like It” should win the race.

As radio is throwing heavier support behind “I Like It,” the aforementioned “Be Careful” has taken a fairly big hit this week. It is down to #3 on the building chart with 4,608 spins (-11.9%).
