BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” Repeats As #1 Song On Global YouTube Chart

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” spends a second week as the world’s most-played track.

Last week, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” debuted at #1 on the Global YouTube Songs Chart.

This week, it keeps the throne.

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” earns a second week at #1 thanks to the 73.5 million views it received during the June 22-28 tracking period. The view tally accounts for official posts and select fan-generated content; the official music video contributed 37.1 million views.

Up one place, Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” takes #2 on the global songs chart. It received 57.7 million views this week.

Daddy Yankee’s “Dura” jumps five places to #3 with 57.2 million views, while a play count of 56.1 million positions Casper’s “Te Bote (Remix)” at #4 (-2).

Credited with 51.6 million views, Becky G & Natti Natasha’s “Sin Pijama” falls one place to #5.

Editor’s Note: The official video for XXXTentacion’s “SAD!” arrived on the final day of the June 22-28 tracking period, but it does not appear that YouTube’s chart team properly classified it as a “music video” (it is absent from the “video” chart despite clearly amassing the requisite number of views). Whether that means YouTube also neglected to count some or all of the video views toward the Top Songs chart remains to be seen (YouTube currently credits “SAD!” with 40.2 million total views, making it the #7 song in the world).

For what it is worth, the “entry” on the YouTube chart page links to the official video. That suggests the issue may be one of classification rather than of calculation.

Even if not (and the video views will be retroactively added), “DDU-DU DDU-DU” would surely retain its #1 position on the global chart.
