Panic! At The Disco’s “Pray For The Wicked” Wins US Sales Race, Will Claim #1 On Billboard 200

The new Panic! At The Disco album claims #1 on this week’s album charts.

Panic! At The Disco’s new “Pray For The Wicked” predictably won the US album sales and consumption races.

According to Hits Daily Double and BuzzAngle, “Pray For The Wicked” sold about 149K pure US copies during the June 22-28 tracking period. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, it generated 177K in first-week consumption units.

Billboard’s more authoritative data, which is due Sunday, may not precisely match that reported by Hits. The potential discrepancies will not, however, be big enough to affect the overall outcome.

The pure sales figure will notch the album #1 on Top Album Sales, while the latter will score “Pray For The Wicked” a #1 bow on the Billboard 200.

“Pray For The Wicked” will follow “Death Of A Bachelor” in becoming Panic’s second #1 album on the Billboard 200.
