Nicki Minaj & Ariana Grande’s “Bed” Received Opening Day Pop & Rhythmic Radio Airplay

Stations in Phoenix and San Francisco led the way at pop. Stations in Honolulu and Sacramento were the biggest rhythmic supporters.

As reported by Headline Planet, Nicki Minaj’s “Bed (featuring Ariana Grande)” was immediately released to pop and rhythmic radio upon launching Thursday.

It, predictably, received a healthy amount of opening day airplay. Numerous stations from big and small markets introduced “Bed” to their audiences.

Phoenix’s 104.7 KISS provided the greatest amount of support at pop radio. According to Mediabase, the station had played “Bed” 15 times by the end of Thursday.

San Francisco pop station WiLD 94.9 offered 10 spins, while Atlanta’s Power 96.1 and San Francisco’s 99.7 NOW each played the song 7 times. Los Angeles’ 97.1 AMP, Dallas’ 106.1 KISS, Las Vegas’ 98.5 KLUC and Macon’s B95.1 provided 4 spins each.

— Honolulu’s 93.9 The Beat ranked as the top rhythmic supporter. Mediabase says the station had delivered 10 spins by the close of Thursday tracking.

Sacramento’s 102.5 KSFM (5 spins), Portland’s We 96.3 (4 spins), and Syracuse’s 96.5 The Beat (3 spins) also offered more than two spins.
