With two singles in the Top 5 of the Hot 100 and an album that continues to perform well, Cardi B unsurprisingly maintains her standing as the leading female artist in America.
Cardi B takes #6 on this week’s Billboard Artist 100, which ranks artists based on factors like album sales, song sales and streams and social media activity.
As she only trails Kanye West (#1), Post Malone (#2), Drake (#3), BTS (#4) and Luke Combs (#5), she ranks as the top female.
Cardi B is enjoying a third consecutive week as the highest-ranking female. Her overall reign, it should be noted, is far longer than three weeks. Since releasing her album “Invasion Of Privacy,” Cardi B has been the #1 female artist more often than not.
Taylor Swift, who takes #14 on the overall chart, ranks as this week’s #2 female artist.
Camila Cabello (#15 overall) and Dua Lipa (#16 overall) are the third- and fourth-highest-ranking women, respectively.
Ariana Grande, the #17 overall artist, takes #5 among females.
Other high-ranking female artists include Ella Mai (#6 female, #33 overall), Selena Gomez (#7 female, #35 overall), Nicki Minaj (#8 female, #38 overall), Halsey (#9 female, #39 overall), and P!nk (#10 female, #43 overall).
