Dave Matthews Band’s “Come Tomorrow” Projected For 265-280K US Sales (Update)

“Come Tomorrow” will take #1 on the upcoming US album sales and consumption charts.

Update: Issued Saturday, the initial projections for Dave Matthews Band’s “Come Tomorrow” called for 225-250,000 in pure US sales and 230-260,000 in overall consumption units.

Those projections have since been upgraded.

Hits Daily Double now expects the album to sell 265-280,000 pure US copies this week. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, it will generate 270-290,000 in overall US consumption units.

It is a virtual lock for #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and Billboard 200 (consumption) charts.

Barring a surprise launch, Dave Matthews Band’s “Come Tomorrow” will debut at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

Based on opening day data, Hits Daily Double expects “Come Tomorrow” to sell 225-250,000 pure US copies during the June 8-14 tracking period. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, the album should generate 230-260,000 in total US consumption units.

The pure sales figure will earn “Come Tomorrow” #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, while the consumption tally should comfortably position the album top the Billboard 200.

Pacing for upwards of 85,000 sales, Dierks Bentley’s “The Mountain” should provide the biggest challenge on the pure sales front.

Kanye West & Kid Cudi’s “Kids See Ghosts” project, on track for just over 100,000 units, will challenge the Bentley album (currently projected for 90-95,000 units) and Post Malone’s “Beerbongs & Bentleys” (which should also land in similar territory) for #2 on the consumption front.
