Ghost’s “Prequelle” Pacing For 46-51K US Sales, 49-54K Total US Units

“Prequelle” will contend for a Top 5 spot on this week’s Billboard 200.

Opening week sales projections have emerged for Ghost’s new album “Prequelle.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album should sell 46-51,000 pure US copies this week. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, it should generate about 49-54,000 in first-week consumption.

Based on those numbers, “Prequelle” is headed for #2 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. Only Kanye West’s “ye” (~74-79,000) is expected to sell more pure copies this week.

The album will meanwhile challenge for a Top 5 position on the Billboard 200 consumption chart. “Ye” and Post Malone’s “Beerbongs & Bentleys” will definitely generate more units, while Luke Combs’ “This One’s For You Too” (48-53,000), Shawn Mendes’ “Shawn Mendes” (41-45,000) and Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” (41-45,000) should land in similar territory.
