Report: BTS’ “Love Yourself: Tear” Remains Top 5 For US Sales, Top 10 For Total US Units

“Love Yourself: Tear” fared well in its second week of release.

BTS’ “Love Yourself: Tear” debuted at #1 on last week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

While the album will not keep the crown this week, it will remain near the top of the chart.

According to data from BuzzAngle and Hits Daily Double, “Love Yourself: Tear” sold about 26,221 pure US copies during the May 25-31 tracking period.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, the album generated about 44,737 in total units.

Hits says the pure sales figure was the week’s third-best; only Shawn Mendes’ “Shawn Mendes” and Pusha T’s “Daytona” posted greater tallies.

The publication, meanwhile, positions “Love Yourself: Tear” at #6 on its consumption chart. Only “Shawn Mendes,” Post Malone’s “Beerbongs & Bentleys,” A$AP Rocky’s “Testing,” Pusha T’s “Daytona,” and Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” hold higher tallies.

Due later this weekend, Billboard’s data may not precisely align with that reported by Hits. The discrepancies should not, however, markedly affect the album’s overall positioning.

The pure sales tally should still be enough for a Top 5 position on Top Album Sales, while the consumption figure should keep “Love Yourself: Tear” within the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Last week, the album debuted with about 100,000 pure sales and 135,000 total units.
