Charli XCX Releases New Song “5 In The Morning,” More Music Coming This Summer

Atlantic says the singer-songwriter will be issuing a “series of releases” this summer.

In a Wednesday Tweet, pop singer-songwriter Charli XCX promised fans “a lot of music this year.”

“And a lot of videos,” added the artist. “You’re gonna be so fucking sick of me.”

The first of those new releases arrived Thursday; Charli XCX released “5 In The Morning.”

Charli XCX co-wrote the track with Nat Dunn and Cleo Tighe; Invisible Men handled production.

In formally announcing the new single, label Atlantic Records noted that Charli XCX “has been working solidly in the studio over the past months, the fruit of which will be rolled out over the summer with a series of releases.”

Along with Camila Cabello, Charli XCX is supporting Taylor Swift on her “reputation” stadium tour.
