Backstreet Boys’ “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” Debuts On Billboard Hot 100

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” earns a spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Following its first full week in the market, Backstreet Boys’ “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” lands on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song debuts at #99 on this week’s edition of the chart, which ranks songs from all genres based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” did its greatest damage on the sales front; it spent the duration of the week near the top of the iTunes chart.

The song also received substantial early attention at pop and hot adult contemporary radio. While it was not a monster on Spotify or Apple Music, it did receive a streaming boost from the official music video.
