Aided by considerable buzz, strong fan reception and a discounted price point, Kris Wu’s new single “Like That” spent its first weekend at #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.
It ceded the throne Monday night as songs from “The Voice” took over the top position.
By Wednesday, however, it had returned to #1. It holds that spot as of press time at 9:20AM ET.
In addition to all of the aforementioned factors (and an easing of interest in the tracks from “The Voice”), “Like That” is benefiting from Tuesday’s music video release. The video, which features supermodel Stella Maxwell, already boasts over 3 million views.
