Backstreet Boys’ “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” rises to #1 on the US iTunes chart.

Earlier Thursday, Christina Aguilera’s new “Fall In Line (featuring Demi Lovato)” reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

By 9:45AM ET, a different newcomer had reached the chart’s apex.

Backstreet Boys’ new single “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” now occupies the #1 position. “Fall In Line” follows at #2.

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” represents the first career iTunes #1 for the group, which achieved its greatest success prior to the digital era.

Childish Gambino’s smash “This Is America,” which had ruled since May 6, now sits at #3. Sam Hunt’s new “Downtown’s Dead” is #4, while Kane Brown’s “Heaven” is #5.
