Camila Cabello’s “Never Be The Same” To Remain #1 At Pop Radio

“Never Be The Same” will spend a second week atop the pop radio airplay chart.

Camila Cabello’s previous #1 pop radio hits “Havana (featuring Young Thug)” and “Bad Things (with Machine Gun Kelly)” both spent multiple weeks atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Her current single “Never Be The Same” will accomplish the same feat.

The song, which rose to #1 on last week’s listing, is poised to retain the throne this week.

“Never Be The Same” received 10,125 spins during the first four days of the May 4-10 tracking period. While the count actually trails the same-time-last-week mark by 1.1%, it keeps “Never Be The Same” comfortably atop the building/real-time chart.

“Never Be The Same” should have no trouble retaining that position as the week draws to a close.

Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s building #2 “The Middle” (9,517 spins, -6.2%) is more substantially decelerating, while The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar’s building #3 (7,978, +2.1%) is not within striking distance.

— In addition to scoring multi-week number ones as a solo artist, Cabello enjoyed a two-week reign as part of her former group Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign).”
