NBC’s “AP Bio” Will Return For Season Two

“AP Bio” scores a second season renewal at NBC.

On the one hand, “AP Bio” garnered a positive reception from critics. It also seemed to have the support of network brass.

On the other hand, the midseason comedy was a modest ratings performer. None of the final six episodes broke a 0.6 in the adults 18-49 demographic or 2.21 million in live+same-day viewership.

The former hand won out. Multiple sources confirm that NBC has renewed “AP Bio” for a second season.

Fellow NBC comedies “Great News” and “Champions” remain on the bubble. With NBC’s upfront presentation set for early next week, news regarding their fates should come in the next few days.
