Report: Post Malone’s “Beerbongs & Bentleys” Breaks US Streaming Record, Earns #1 Debut

“Beerbongs & Bentleys” reportedly generated over 440 million first-week streams.

The April 27-May 3 tracking week is officially in the books, and US album numbers are emerging for Post Malone’s “beerbongs & bentleys.”

They are predictably massive.

According to Hits Daily Double and BuzzAngle, “Beerbongs & Bentleys” generated about 471,000 first-week consumption units in the United States. The consumption total, as a reminder, is the sum of pure sales, TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500).

SEA contributed the largest amount of activity; Hits says the album generated upwards of 440 million first-week streams in the US. A new record, the figure amounts to roughly 293K in TEA units.

Pure album sales contributed about 157K, while the remaining units are owed to track sales.

Billboard’s more authoritative data may differ slightly from that reported by Hits, but two key takeaways should remain intact.

The consumption tally will position “Beerbongs & Bentleys” as a dominant #1 on the Billboard 200, while the streaming figure will represent an all-time record.
