Colin Jost, Michael Che Announced As Hosts For 2018 Emmy Awards

Other “SNL” cast members will also appear.

“Weekend Update” anchors and “Saturday Night Live” head writers Colin Jost and Michael Che will be hosting the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

NBC, which is handling broadcasting duties this year, confirmed the news in a Thursday announcement.

The ceremony, which will honor the year’s television highlights, will emanate from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on September 17.

“We’re proud to be the first duo hosting the Emmys since Jenna Elfman and David Hyde Pierce, and somehow that’s a real fact,” said Jost and Che.

Along with Jost and Che, the ceremony will feature special appearances by other members of the “Saturday Night Live” cast.
