Ratings Emerge For The Series Finale Of ABC’s “Scandal”

The finale was the most-watched “Scandal” since February 1.

No, the series finale of “Scandal” was not a blockbuster, widely viewed television “event.” The viewership level was, in fact, a far cry from what “Scandal” routinely drew during its peak years.

It did, however, post the show’s best marks since early February.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s series finale drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.43 million overall viewers.

The numbers top the 0.9 rating and 4.15 million viewer mark drawn by the previous episode. They, moreover, rank as the best numbers since the 1.4 and 5.62 million viewer mark posted by the February 1 midseason premiere.

— ABC’s Thursday also included “Grey’s Anatomy” (1.6, 6.89 million this week vs. 1.7, 6.97 million last week) and “Station 19” (1.1, 5.45 million this week vs. 1.0, 5.59 million last week).
