Ratings: FOX’s “STAR” Wins Timeslot, “Empire” Wins The Night

FOX’s “Empire” and “STAR” were the night’s #1 and #4 shows, respectively.

FOX’s Wednesday dramas held steady in the ratings this week.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, “STAR” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 4.29 million overall viewers.

The demo rating matches that of last week’s episode. The viewership figure actually represents a slight upgrade (last week’s broadcast drew 4.21 million).

Earlier in the night, “Empire” drew a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.80 million viewers.

As it currently stands, “Empire” was even with last week in the demo and up slightly in viewers (from 5.57 million). Since “Empire” sometimes receives an upward adjustment in the finals, it is possible it will end up ahead in both columns.

“Empire” was the night’s #1 program in adults 18-49. “STAR” won the 9PM hour, while taking fourth place overall (beneath “Empire,” “Survivor” and “Modern Family”).
