Ratings: ABC’s “Roseanne” Delivers Another Dominant Performance

“Roseanne” was down from last week but still by far Tuesday’s top show.

This week’s “Roseanne” may have trailed the previous episode in adults 18-49 and overall viewership, but it still towered over its Tuesday competition.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “Roseanne” drew a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 13.47 million overall viewers.

The numbers are short of the 3.9 rating and 15.39 million viewer mark but are obviously dominant.

“Roseanne,” in fact, doubled all but one Tuesday night show in adults 18-49 (“The Middle,” which drew a 1.9 rating and 7.48 million viewers in large part due to lead-in support from “Roseanne”).

“Roseanne” should, moreover, rank as the week’s #1 scripted show in adults 18-49. It may hold that distinction in overall viewership as well (“The Big Bang Theory” is the only real threat).

In addition to “Roseanne” and “The Middle,” ABC’s Tuesday lineup included “black-ish” (1.4, 5.10 million), “Splitting Up Together” (1.2, 4.20 million) and “For The People” (0.6, 2.72 million).
