Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” Sales Projection Receives Major Upgrade

The album will flirt with 100K in pure sales, while generating over 200K in total units.

This past Saturday, Hits Daily Double issued its first wave of projections for Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy.” It reported that the album was on track to sell 45-55,000 in pure US copies this week, while generating 175-200,000 in opening week consumption.

It has since released a markedly upgraded pure sales projection.

“Invasion Of Privacy” is now on track to sell 90-100,000 in pure copies. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a first-week consumption total of 215-225,000.

The pure sales total will secure “Invasion Of Privacy” #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The consumption figure will position the album as a dominant #1 on the Billboard 200.

The #2 pure sales performer should be Thirty Seconds To Mars’ “AMERICA,” which is expected to sell 61-66,000 pure copies this week.

That album (projected for 64-69,000 total units) will likely challenge The Weeknd’s “My Dear Melancholy” (74-79,000 total units) for #2 on the Billboard 200.
