Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” Projected For 45-55K US Sales, 170-200K US Units

“Invasion Of Privacy” is set to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Early projections have emerged for Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy,” and they suggest the album is headed for #1 on the Billboard 200.

Based on opening day sales data, Hits Daily Double expects Cardi B’s debut solo album to sell 45-55,000 pure US copies this week.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “Invasion Of Privacy” should generate 170-200,000 in total US units.

While the pure sales figure may not be enough for #1 on Billboard Top Album Sales (Thirty Seconds To Mars’ “AMERICA” is expected to sell 50-60,000 copies), the consumption tally should comfortably position “Invasion Of Privacy” atop the Billboard 200.

Cardi B will be promoting “Invasion Of Privacy” with performances on the April 7 “Saturday Night Live” and April 9 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The extent to which Hits’ projections account for those showcases is presently unclear.
