Ratings: Syfy’s “Krypton” Falls Slightly In Week Three

“Krypton” was down — but not by much — in adults 18-49.

No, Syfy’s “Krypton” did not completely avoid a decline in week three.

It did, however, avoid a sharp drop.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Krypton” drew a 0.29 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.96 million overall viewers.

The demo rating very narrowly trails the 0.30 posted by last week’s broadcast. While the viewership decline is steeper (last week’s episode reached 1.08 million), it is not alarming for the third episode of a new drama.

Post-premiere declines can last for several weeks, so “Krypton” is by no means out of the woods. As it is, a 0.29 adults 18-49 rating may seem unremarkable for a show that received so much promotion.

The stability does, however, inspire confidence that will spend the duration of the season as a solid performer by Syfy (and overall cable) drama standards.
