Kane Brown’s “Heaven” & Self-Titled Debut Album Reach Platinum Status In United States

Kane Brown just received new awards from the RIAA.

Kane Brown, who is quickly becoming a big star within the country genre, just received two new certifications from the RIAA.

“Heaven,” his current radio single, attained platinum status in the United States.

The award confirms 1 million in US digital single units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Brown also received a platinum certification for his chart-topping, self-titled debut album. The award signifies 1 million in US album units. An album unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Heaven” is approaching the Top 5 at country radio, near the Top 10 on US iTunes and one of only two country singles on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart.

The “Kane Brown” album recently notched a tenth week atop the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
