When allegations of sexual misconduct emerged earlier this year, UMG announced that Charlie Walk had been placed on leave from his post as Republic Records president.
Wednesday, Republic revealed that the executive will not be returning.
“Republic Records and Charlie Walk have mutually agreed to part ways,” said the label in a statement first posted by Variety.
Further details were not available at press time.
Allegations of misconduct first emerged in a blog by Life Lab’s Tristan Coopersmith, who worked under Walk while both were at Sony Music.
Additional accusations were later reported by other publications, including Rolling Stone.
Walk has vehemently denied the claims.
