Khalid & Normani’s “Love Lies” Earns Gold Certification In Australia

“Love Lies” crosses the gold threshold in the Land Down Under.

This week’s ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart brings two pieces of good news for Khalid x Normani’s “Love Lies.”

First, it confirms the continuation of the song’s chart climb. “Love Lies,” which appears on the “Love, Simon” soundtrack, rises three places to #11 on the ARIA listing.

It also reveals news of the song’s first ARIA accreditation.

“Love Lies” has officially attained gold status in the Land Down Under.

The award confirms 35,000 in Australian units.

The certification marks Normani’s first such honor outside Fifth Harmony.  Said group attained multiple ARIA accreditations, including a 6x platinum award for “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign).”

Khalid has previously received ARIA certifications for his own “Location” (3x platinum), “Saved” (platinum) and “Young Dumb & Broke” (4x platinum), as well as collaborations “1-800-273-8255″ (Logic ft. Alessia Cara & Khalid)” (3x platinum), “Rollin” (Calvin Harris ft. Future & Khalid)” gold), “Silence” (Marshmello ft. Khalid) (4x platinum) and “Homemade Dynamite” (Lorde ft.
