Bad Wolves’ “Zombie” Debuts On Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Bad Wolves’ cover of “Zombie” makes an impressive bow on this week’s Hot 100.

Bad Wolves’ cover of iconic The Cranberries’ tune “Zombie” caught fire from a sales standpoint last week. It, in fact, spent much of the March 9-15 tracking period at #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

Thanks to that impressive sales performance, as well as respectable streaming numbers and rock radio airplay, “Zombie” makes an impressive debut on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Zombie” starts at #54 on the all-genre listing. It ranks as the week’s top new entry.

While it has attained “classic” status in the years following its 1994 release, The Cranberries’ original version interestingly never charted on the Billboard Hot 100. It did, however, hit #1 at alternative radio in the US.
