The Band Perry’s “If I Die Young” Earns 7x Platinum Certification In United States

The trio’s breakthrough hit has reached 7 million in US digital single units.

The Band Perry’s colossal hit “If I Die Young” recently received a new multi-platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “If I Die Young” earned a 7x platinum award on March 13, 2018. The honor confirms at least 7 million in US units.

Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The 2010 single, which served as a breakthrough for The Band Perry, hit #1 at country radio. It also hit the Top 15 at pop radio, while peaking at #14 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.
