Tuesday’s “Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” which featured interviews with Oprah Winfrey and Justin Hartley, delivered the show’s best overnight household rating in two months.
According to metered market data shared by CBS, Tuesday’s “Late Show” drew a 3.1 household rating. The number marked the show’s best performance since January 5.
It gave “Late Show” a convincing lead over ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The former drew a 2.1 overnight household rating, while the latter posted a 1.9.
“The Tonight Show” did, however, top its competitors in adults 18-49. According to NBC, it drew a 0.7 demo rating in the Top 25 markets. The ABC and CBS late-night shows each delivered 0.5 ratings.
