Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart

“The Middle” now ranks as the best-selling song on iTunes.

Monday has featured several lead changes on the US iTunes sales chart.

The day opened with Drake’s “God’s Plan” in the pinnacle position. By Monday afternoon, Keala Settle’s Oscar-nominated “This Is Me” had seized the throne.

“God’s Plan” returned to #1 Monday night, but it did not stay there long.

By press time at 11:45PM ET Monday, Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” had taken over the #1 position.

“The Middle” has been resonating since its release in late January, and growing radio support plus a national Target campaign are bolstering that momentum.

“God’s Plan” is now #2 on the chart, while “This Is Me” is #3.

A pair of new releases — DJ Khaled’s “Top Off (featuring Jay Z, Future & B)” (#4) and Meghan Trainor’s “No Excuses” (#5) — complete the Top 5.
