“Black Panther” Dominates Third Consecutive US Weekend Box Office, “Red Sparrow” #2

“Black Panther” crosses $500 million in cumulative US earnings.

Powered by another mammoth gross, “Black Panther” tops a third consecutive US weekend box office chart.

“Black Panther” earned an estimated $65.7 million at the box office this weekend. The tally brings the film’s cumulative total to $501.1 million.

It also secures “Black Panther” a dominant weekend box office victory.

New release “Red Sparrow” takes second place. It earned $17.0 million in its first weekend of release.

“Death Wish,” another newcomer, debuts at #3 with $13.0 million.

“Game Night” falls two places to #4 with $10.7 million (cume now $33.4 million), while “Peter Rabbit” drops two spots to #5 with $10.0 million (cume now $84.1 million).
