“Jumanji” Returns To #1 At US Weekend Box Office, “Winchester” Debuts At #3

“Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” recaptures the throne from “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.”

A quiet Super Bowl Weekend box office ends in favor of “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.”

The blockbuster retakes the US weekend crown thanks to an estimated $11.0 million in weekend receipts. The figure brings its cumulative total to an impressive $352.6 million.

“Maze Runner: The Death Cure,” which debuted at #1 on last weekend’s chart, slips to #2 this week. It added $10.2 million to its haul (cume now $40.0 million).

“Winchester,” the only noteworthy new release, debuts at #3 with $9.3 million.

“The Greatest Showman” holds at #4 with $7.8 million (cume now $137.5 million), while a weekend gross of $5.5 million brings “Hostiles” down two spots to #5 (cume now $21.2 million).
