Shakira’s “El Dorado” Named Best Latin Pop Album At Grammy Awards

Shakira’s “El Dorado” is officially a Grammy winner.

As the Grammy Premiere Ceremony neared the end of its first hour, it turned its attention to Latin Music.

The first Latin award was for Best Latin Pop Album.

Shakira’s “El Dorado” was named the victor.

Shakira’s album beat out Alex Cuba’s “Lo Único Constante,” Juanes’ “Mis Planes Son Amarte,” La Santa Cecilia’s “Amar y Vivir (En Vivo Desde La Ciudad de México, 2017),” and Natalia Lafourcade’s “Musas (Un Homenaje al Folclore Latinoamericano en Manos de Los Macorinos).”

The Grammy Premiere ceremony is being streamed live on Grammy.com. The main Grammy show, which stars at 7:30PM ET, will be broadcast on CBS.
