The main, televised portion of the 60th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony does not begin until 7:30PM ET.
The premiere ceremony, however, is already underway. That ceremony, it should be noted, will feature the lion’s share of awards reveals.
The first two reveals came moments ago.
LCD Soundsystem’s “Tonite” was named the year’s Best Dance Recording. It beat out “Bambro Koyo Ganda,” “Cola,” “Andromeda,” and “Line Of Sight.”
Kraftwerk’s “3-D The Catalogue” meanwhile took home the trophy for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Other nominees included Bonobo’s “Migration,” Mura Masa’s self-titled album, Sylvan Esso’s “What Now” and Odesza’s “A Moment Apart.”
