Fall Out Boy’s “MANIA” Pacing For 105-110K US Sales, 110-115K US Units

“MANIA” is on track to sell over 100,000 first-week copies in the US.

Opening week US sales and consumption projections have emerged for Fall Out Boy’s “MANIA.”

Based on initial sales data, Hits Daily Double expects the new album to sell 105-110,000 pure US copies during the January 19-25 tracking period.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, the album should debut with 110-115,000 in first-week US consumption units.

Assuming those figures prove accurate, “MANIA” should be in contention for #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and Billboard 200 (consumption) charts.

“MANIA” is the follow-up to “American Beauty/American Psycho,” which debuted with 192K pure copies and 218K total units in early 2015.

In addition to launching in a more favorable sales climate, that album benefited from a hit lead single in “Centuries.”

Thus far, no “MANIA” single has made waves on the charts.
