Maroon 5’s new “Wait” is quickly taking flight at hot adult contemporary radio.
The song officially enters the Top 30 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary chart.
Up seven places, “Wait” grabs #28 on the listing. It received 760 spins during the January 7-13 tracking period, besting last week’s count by 469.
— “Wait” is one of two additions to the format’s Top 30. Bruno Mars’ “Finesse (featuring Cardi B),” the other, jumps eleven places to #23.
— “Wait” is also gaining traction at pop radio, where it moves into the Top 50 this week.
