“Three Billboards” Named Best Drama At Golden Globes; “Lady Bird” Wins For Musical or Comedy

“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and “Lady Bird” won the top film prizes at Sunday’s awards.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has revealed its picks for the year’s top films.

“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” was named the Best Drama, while “Lady Bird” won for Musical or Comedy.

The announcements were made during Sunday’s 75th Annual Golden Globes Ceremony.

Other drama nominees included “Call Me By Your Name,” “Dunkirk,” “The Post” and “The Shape Of Water.”

“Lady Bird” beat out “I, Tonya,” “Get Out,” “The Disaster Artist” and “The Greatest Showman” in the musical/comedy space.

A four-time winner, “Three Billboards” also picked up trophies for Best Actress (Frances McDormand), Best Supporting Actor (Sam Rockwell) and Best Screenplay (Martin McDonagh).

“Lady Bird” also won for Best Actress (Saoirse Ronan).
