Justin Timberlake’s New Single “Filthy” Debuting With Video On January 5

Another new song is set to arrive on January 18.

Tuesday, Justin Timberlake officially announced that his new album “Man Of The Woods” would be released on February 2.

He also confirmed that the album’s first single would drop on January 5.

Wednesday, RCA confirmed more details.

The first single is entitled “Filthy.” It was co-written and co-produced by Timberlake, Timbaland, and Danja. James Fauntleroy and Larrance Dopson also have writing credits.

Mark Romanek directed the video, which is also due January 5. “The dance heavy video features Timberlake as a modern day inventor presenting his latest creation to the world,” says RCA of the clip.

Prior to the February 2 “Man Of The Woods” launch, Timberlake will release three additional “instant gratification” tracks. Each will include its own video by a different director.

Those songs will arrive weekly, beginning on January 18.

“Man Of The Woods marks Timberlake’s most ambitious album to date, both sonically and lyrically,” notes RCA regarding the album. “Combining the sounds of traditional American rock with the modern influences of collaborators The Neptunes, Timbaland, Chris Stapleton, and Alicia Keys, this new material explores storytelling inspired by his son, his wife, and his personal journey from Memphis to where he is today.”

The pre-order phase begins Friday.
