Blake Shelton’s “I’ll Name The Dogs” Reaches #1 At Country Radio

The lead “Texoma Shore” single earns the top spot on this week’s country radio chart.

In a story that has become rather familiar over the past several years, Blake Shelton has the number one song at country radio.

The country superstar tops this week’s Mediabase country radio chart with “I’ll Name The Dogs.”

The lead “Texoma Shore” single, which was #2 last week, becomes Shelton’s twenty-fifth country radio #1. It seizes the throne from Luke Bryan’s “Light It Up,” which falls out of the Top 5.

Not simply the leader in chart points, “I’ll Name The Dogs” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song for the December 10-16 tracking period.

It received ~8,774 spins (+800) and ~58.124 million audience impressions.

Up one place, Brett Young’s “Like I Loved You” moves into the #2 position. Eric Church’s “Round Here Buzz” rises one spot to #3, while Russell Dickerson’s “Yours” jumps three places to #4.

A one-spot rise brings Maren Morris’ “I Could Use A Love Song” to #5.
