Earlier this year, Halsey reached the Top 5 at pop radio with “Now Or Never.”
This week, she is on track to return to the region with “Bad At Love.”
“Bad At Love” received 5,344 spins during the first three days of the November 26-December 2 tracking period. Up 9.8% from the count at this point last week, “Bad At Love” is #5 on Mediabase’s building pop chart.
Ed Sheeran’s building #7 “Perfect” is gaining at a slightly faster pace (4,828, +12.9%), but it is unlikely to close the gap before the end of tracking.
“Bad At Love” may, moreover, leapfrog Portugal. The Man’s building #4 “Feel It Still” (5,374 spins, -11.6%) before the chart goes final on Sunday.
As such, “Bad At Love” is a pretty safe bet for a Top 5 position on this week’s chart.
It will become the third Top 5 pop hit for Halsey, who previously hit the region with the aforementioned “Now Or Never” and as a featured artist on The Chainsmokers’ “Closer.”
