Ratings: “Ride With Norman Reedus” Returns With Series High Performance

The second season premiere was the most-watched episode yet.

Benefiting from strong, compatible lead-in support, Sunday’s “Ride With Norman Reedus” premiere delivered series high ratings.

According to live+same-day data, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.44 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.07 million viewers.

The figures convincingly rank as series highs for the program. The previous highs belonged to the series premiere, which drew a 0.27 rating and 0.75 million viewers in June 2016.

One, of course, cannot discount the value of this week’s lead-in. Whereas last season’s “Ride” episodes aired out of “Preacher,” Sunday’s special premiere aired after AMC’s “Talking Dead” (which airs after “The Walking Dead”).

Considering the program stars “TWD” principal Norman Reedus (and this week’s episode featured fellow “TWD” actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan as its guest), the compatibility with the lead-in is obvious.

“Ride” will spend the remainder of its second season on Monday nights.
