Ratings: “Mr. Robot” Rises Against Game 7 Of World Series

The November 1 “Mr. Robot” posted gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

Wednesday’s “Mr. Robot” faced major competition from Game 7 of the MLB World Series.

It still managed to post week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Mr. Robot” drew a 0.22 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.55 million overall viewers.

Last week’s episode drew a series low 0.18 in the demo. It posted a viewership average of 0.54 million.

While growth in the face of heavy competition is always good news, the actual live+same-day viewership figure is still rather modest. It also trails the numbers drawn throughout the first and second seasons.

“Mr. Robot” was never a strong live+same-day performer, but its first two seasons reached considerably larger audiences. No first season episode drew fewer than 1.15 million live+same-day viewers, while no second season episode went below 0.57 million (and most drew well over 650,000).

Granted, the greatest value of “Mr. Robot” lies in its buzz and prestige.
