Backstreet Boys, Phillip Phillips Performing At CMT Artists Of The Year Ceremony

CMT adds to the bill ahead of Wednesday’s ceremony.

The 2017 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony will air live from Nashville Wednesday night.

Wednesday morning, the network confirmed two additions to the performer lineup.

Per a CMT press release, Backstreet Boys and Phillip Phillips will be performing on the show.

Backstreet Boys will be tributing AOTY honoree Florida Georgia Line. BSB toured, co-headlined “Crossroads” and released “God, Your Mama, And Me” with the superstar country duo.

Phillips will help recognize Sam Hunt and his “Song Of The Year” winner “Body Like A Back Road.”

Billed as a night of “hope and healing” in the wake of events like the Vegas shooting, the event will air at 8PM ET/PT.

AOTY honorees include FGL, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Hunt and co-writers Zach Crowell, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne are receiving the inaugural Song of the Year award.

The honorees will all be performing. Andra Day, Common, Lee Ann Womack and Little Big Town are also on the performer lineup, while Amy Grant, Blake Shelton, Bobby Bones, Brothers Osborne, Chris Young, Dolly Parton, Kelsea Ballerini, Lionel Richie and Vince Gill are all set to make appearances.
