Pink’s “Beautiful Trauma” Projections Upgraded To 340-370K Sales, 360-385K Units

“Beautiful Trauma” will post 2017’s biggest opening week total for a female artist.

Revised opening week sales and consumption projections have emerged for P!nk’s “Beautiful Trauma,” and they paint an even more favorable picture of the new release.

Based on available data, Hits Daily Double now expects the album to sell 340-370,000 pure US copies this week.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “Beautiful Trauma” may drive 360-385,000 in total first-week consumption.

Not simply enough for #1 on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and 200 charts, the numbers will be the best posted by a female artist in 2017.

The album, moreover, is off to a hotter start than its 2011 predecessor. Entitled “The Truth About Love,” that album sold 281K pure first-week copies — in a far stronger sales climate.

“Beautiful Trauma” is benefiting from a concert ticket/album bundle promotion, but it is hard to look at the projected numbers as anything but immensely impressive.
