Kane Brown & Lauren Alaina’s “What Ifs” Earns #1 At Country Radio

“What Ifs” claims the top spot on this week’s Mediabase country radio chart.

Last week, Kane Brown’s “What Ifs (featuring Lauren Alaina)” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. That listing accounts for combined activity from sales, streaming and radio.

This week, “What Ifs” reaches #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart. The listing specifically focuses on country radio play.

Up one place from last week’s position, “What Ifs” seizes the throne from Kenny Chesney’s “All The Pretty Girls.” That song spent the past two weeks at #1.

“What Ifs” becomes Kane Brown’s first country radio #1. It is the second chart-topper for Alaina, who scored her first such hit earlier this year with “Road Less Traveled.”

Not simply the leader in chart points, “What Ifs” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song for the October 8-14 tracking week. It received ~8,938 spins (+691) and ~57.926 million audience impressions.

Up two places, Luke Combs’ “When It Rains It Pours” earns #2 on this week’s chart. Thomas Rhett’s “Unforgettable” rises four places to #3, and Kip Moore’s “More Girls Like You” climbs one spot to #4.

The aforementioned “All The Pretty Girls” drops to #5.
