Pink’s “Beautiful Trauma” Projected For #1 With Big Opening Week Sales Total

“Beautiful Trauma” may sell upwards of 300,000 US copies this week.

Early sales projections have emerged for P!nk’s “Beautiful Trauma,” and they are very impressive.

Based on early sales data, Hits Daily Double expects P!nk’s “Beautiful Trauma” to sell 290-340,000 pure US copies this week.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a first-week consumption tally of 300-375,000.

Hits attributes the wide ranges to difficulty projecting the exact impact of a concert ticket/album bundle.

Early projections, moreover, always come with some margin for error.

The clear takeaway is that P!nk’s album is going to post very strong first-week US sales and consumption totals. It is a safe bet to top this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

“Beautiful Trauma” is the follow-up to P!nk’s 2012 album “The Truth About Love,” which sold 281K first-week copies in the US.
